Love's labour lost; well ... almost!

I wrote this during LPS's lecture! Sorry Prof., just couldn't stop myself!

He loved her like he never did ...
With all his heart and loving soul ...
Little did he know she loved him too ...
With all her heart and loving soul ...

But then came the heartbreak though ...
He didn't know how, he didn't know when ...
All he cared to know was what ...
What happened that lead to it ...

Little did he know she loved him too ...
Deep down her desire burned ...
Yet she kept away ... far away from him ...
'Coz she was afraid ... afraid to admit her love ...

The world moves on, they moved on ...
Went along their paths, taking life as it comes ...
And yet they never forgot their love ...
A love that just refused to die ...

And then by some twist of fate they met ...
When they never should have met ...
And memories came flashing back ...
Flooding her heart with remorse ...

For they could never be one again ...
Just remember they could, their love unsaid ...
For she was here in this real world ...
Looking down at the tomb ... that bore the name that was his ...
