Diwali

It's Diwali...the festival of lights! One of the most important and exciting festivals in the Indian calendar. So what did I do? Had loads of fun, masti!!! To add more color to the occasion, my parents had come down from Mumbai, so it was a double party time! Visited some relatives around Chennai city too.... (when ur parents come down, u need to do all these things also!! )

I wake up today morning and my cell (my friends like to call it PDA, they say I call it that way, but I don't care what u call a cell! ) has 10 new smses waiting for me! All friends wishing me a happy diwali.... (some even wishing I get Shanti, Shakti, Sneha, Jyoti, Kiran.....'n all other bar girls of Mumbai!!! Lol! the wierd ideas ppl get with Indian names! )

Called up a lot of friends in Mumbai and Chennai, feels good to talk to everyone once in a while..
Talked to good ol' friend Sharin from Chandigarh! Spl. mention of her coz everytime I call her, the lines cut, not once or twice, but many times over! 'n the girl will not call back!

I slept thru' many kids' attempts to wake me up with the cound of crackers, atom bombs (nt the real ones!!!! ) and electrics. But I'm a seasoned pro though...slept for about 4 hours flat...in the afternoon.

Here I am, back in 408, Jam (if u didn't know, this is my room number in IIT - if u didn't know this, what are u reading this blog for!!! ) typing away to glory. We just opened a pack of chocolate coated biscuits, mmmmm and they were delicious! Disappeared in a jiffy! But there's more in my bag...will open stuff slowly!

My parents leave for the beautiful city of Mumbai tomorrow. Here's wishing them a very safe journey.
